Our 3rd annual Father’s Day Mountain Man Shoot give you and your dad a chance to experience life in the early 1800s at the outdoor school at the Sacajawea Center’s ancestral village. Join us to try your hand at archery, hatchet throwing or atlatl (spear) throwing. Take a taste of some early trail food including pemmican, parched corn, Mexican chocolate and ginger switchel. Check out our display of historic guns and watch a cannon firing demonstration. It is like stepping back in time! Your family will make memories that will last a life time. When you are ready to return to 2018 you can cross the street to the City Park for Salmon’s annual Father’s Day car show.
