The Beautiful Trails
The Sacajawea Center has two walking trails that are open from dawn to dusk year round. When there is enough snow on the valley floor we sometimes have groomed cross-country ski trails, too!
As the Center is a City of Salmon park, all park rules apply including: all dogs must remain leashed onsite, and no bicycles are allowed on the trails. Thank you for helping us make everyone’s experience meaningful.

Office Hours
Our office hours can be variable depending on the time of year. When the Interpretive Center is closed to the public, generally someone is in the office Monday – Friday from 9am to 4pm. However, our small staff isn’t always at the desk answering phones. Please call ahead if you are looking for a specific person or have a specific question – serving our visitors promptly is important to us.
