A Women’s History Month Program with lunch: What does it take to survive, thrive, and raise a family in the remote–and frequently inaccessible–Salmon River Canyon. Salmon River outfitter, river guide, and author, Wayne Johnson explores the lives of the women who met the challenges along the banks of Idaho’s River of No Return. Wayne’s program is derived from his upcoming book: “Indomitable Women of the Salmon River Canyon.”
Donations are encouraged to keep history alive and relevant with educational programming and to help install a roof over the handicap ramp for safer community access.
