The Sacajawea Center is seeking summer staff to help support all aspects of operations.  We will be filling one of the following positions: a part-time Interpretive Specialist or a full time Education and Ancestral Skills Intern.

The Center is an exciting place to spend a summer providing educational programs and meeting visitors from around the world.  No matter how big or small we strive to bring the history of Lemhi County alive with hand-on learning opportunities. The position will assist in creating positive, memorable experiences for visitors and community members at the Sacajawea Center while gaining direct experience in all aspects of operating a small education center, including educational programming, interpretive demonstrations, public speaking, event planning, visitor services, and fundraising.  This position allows for the individual hired to direct their own interpretive focus as it pertains to local history, natural and/or cultural resources, interpretation, education, environmental sciences, or ancestral and frontier living skills, leaving ample room for creativity and growth.

Links to complete job descriptions are posted to the right.  Please help us spread the word! Each application must include a cover letter, resume, and City of Salmon application. Contact Lin, (208)756-1188, at the Sacajawea Center with questions.
